Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Asset Savvy Technologies (OPC) Private Limited (“Asset Savvy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), the operator of the Recruitofy recruitment platform (the “Service”), collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your information. By using Recruitofy you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

Recruitofy is an AI-powered hiring platform that helps recruiters and hiring teams source candidates, manage job pipelines, schedule interviews, and communicate with candidates. The Service is operated by Asset Savvy Technologies (OPC) Private Limited, a company incorporated in India.

2. Information we collect

• Account information — name, work email, company name, and authentication details you provide when you register.
• Recruitment data — job descriptions, candidate profiles, resumes, interview schedules, feedback, and related content that you or your candidates submit to the Service.
• Integration data — when you choose to connect a Google or Microsoft account, we receive limited data from those accounts as described in Section 4.
• Usage and device data — log data, IP address, browser type, and product usage needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

3. How we use your information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To create and manage interview calendar events and video-meeting links on your behalf when you connect a calendar integration.
• To send transactional emails such as interview invitations and notifications.
• To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Google user data and Limited Use

When you connect your Google account, Recruitofy requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events scope, in addition to your basic profile and email (openid, email, profile). We use this access solely to:

• create, update, and cancel interview calendar events (including Google Meet links) that you schedule through Recruitofy; and
• identify the connected Google account so events are created on the correct calendar.

We only access the calendar events that Recruitofy creates for your interviews. We do not read, store, or use the rest of your personal calendar, and we do not use Google user data for advertising.

Recruitofy’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Microsoft user data

If you connect a Microsoft account instead, we request equivalent calendar and online-meeting permissions used only to create and manage interview events and Microsoft Teams meeting links on your behalf. The same limited-use principles described above apply.

6. How we store and protect your data

• OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest and are never exposed to other users.
• All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS/HTTPS).
• Access to production data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.

7. Data retention

• Integration tokens: retained only while the integration is connected. When you disconnect an integration, the token is revoked with the provider and deleted immediately.
• Interview event references: the identifiers and links for events we create are retained for the lifecycle of the related interview and are deleted within 90 days of account deletion.
• Account and recruitment data: retained for as long as your account is active. After account closure, data is deleted or anonymized within 90 days, unless a longer period is required by law.

8. Sharing and sub-processors

We share data only with service providers that help us operate the Service (for example, cloud hosting, and the Google/Microsoft APIs you choose to connect), and only to the extent necessary. We may disclose information where required by law.

9. Your choices and rights

• You can disconnect any integration at any time from your Recruitofy profile settings, which immediately revokes our access.
• You can revoke Recruitofy’s access directly from your Google Account permissions page.
• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing tech@assetsavvy.in.

10. Children

The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.

12. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, India.
